Shearfab has established its reputation with its quality work on type tested, fault rated control enclosures. We manufacture bespoke motor control centres (MCCs) which, unlike any modular MCC, are designed to meet the specific and unique requirements for each project. Features of Shearfab’s MCCs include:

• Manufactured and Verified to BSEN61439-1&2 and WIMES-301. Form 4, type 2 to 7
• ASTA and KEMA tested bus bar systems fault ratings from 30 to 80KA for 1 and 3 seconds (ICW)
• Available from 250 amps to 4000 amp ratings
• A full range of fuse switches (ABB and Socomec) from 20 amps to 800 amp and ACBs ABB and Siemens) up to 4000 amp, all VERIFIED to BSEN61439-1&2
• Earth bars tested from 30KA for 1 second to 50KA to 3 seconds
• 90° corner sections and bus bar bridges, tested up to 80KA for 1 second
• IP54 or IP65 rated for ingress protection (certified to IEC 60529-1)
• Front access, front and rear access, or back-to-back panel construction

Shearfab is a one-stop-shop for MCCs with our dedicated powder coating plant which includes a unique multi process pre-treatment system allowing us to offer a fast track professional, durable finish that will last. We stock a vast range of RAL and BS colours and can also offer a paint matching service, on request. Stainless Steel is also available in brushed or painted finished, using 304 or 316 grade material and always to the highest quality.

• All door machining is plasma cut or CNC punched to ensure accurate fitting of control equipment
• Free issued switch devices fitted, solid copper connected and shrouded
• If required, mounting plates can be supplied ahead of schedule, punched to customer needs

• We offer site visits for all types of panel extensions
